Remote education
Working remotely is now part of the working pattern for many businesses and some school staff during planning time. For children, the social aspect of school life is incredibly important. There were real concerns during and immediately post pandemic, which we are still evaluating, concerning the mental health and resilience of young children when we were all in lockdown.
We strongly believe that pupils learn best in school, they learn to negotiate, listen to and share with their peers, and how to manage situations which are sometimes challenging. Children should attend school every day and parents and carers are asked to avoid taking holidays in term time. If a child is unwell, or has an unavoidable period of time away from school and is able to access some learning, we are able to provide links and resources to support the school curriculum. Please liaise with your child's class teacher using Class Dojo for this.
